To recognize the tenth anniversary of the war and the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the City of West Hollywood’s Human Rights Speakers Series hosted a screening of the film, followed by a panel discussion with director/producer Evgeny Afineevsky and film protagonist, activist and survivor Anna Zaitseva.

In advance of the screening, the Mayor of West Hollywood, Dr. John Erickson, honored the film and its creators with proclamations, recognizing the importance of this work and its impact. It’s a gesture that underscores the significance of storytelling in our understanding of humanity and conflict.
